2021 was quite the year! While I thought I would’ve saved lots of money with all the shutdowns, I ended up spending more as prices increased and I tried to salvage my mental health. I am certainly grateful that I still ended up with $25800.45 in extra money and savings, since it helped alleviate some of the extra financial burden 2021 placed on my family.

Depsite continued rising costs and another lockdown here in Ontario, I have committed myself to reducing spending in 2022 and increasing extra money.
To do this, I will spend more time meal planning, eat through what we already have in our pantry and freezer and spend more time on survey sites to bring in more cash. I will also make an effort to shop in store again, to use more coupons for greater savings!
