Extra Cash Report 2022

Did you know there’s many ways to make extra money in Canada?  Add on the money you can save using coupons and apps, and you can end up with thicker wallet each and every month!  Here’s how a stay-at-home Canadian mom ended up with over $27000 in extra money in  2022!

Was it just me or did 2022 totally fly by?  It’s so hard to believe a whole year has passed and we’re onto new bigger and brighter things!

After calculating all the numbers, I ended up with an extra money total of almost $28,000!  I’m absolutely thrilled with this number as it definitely gave some much needed relief.

At the beginning of the year, I didn’t give myself much of a goal.  2020 and 2021 had really kicked my butt and I was struggling mentally, emotionally and physically.  I just set the intention of bringing in new money in 2022 and that was it.  After two years of chaos, change and challenge, I really just didn’t know what to expect and didn’t want to set myself up for failure.  All in all, I think I did pretty okay!

So after still managing success last year, even without focus and just trying to get by, I’m rather excited to see what 2023 holds for extra money.

The year has already started off a bit rocky with my youngest son falling and breaking his leg, but even with this temporary distraction, I know that opportunities to save and money will still flow into my life.

Since I had success without a defined goal amount last year, I am somewhat tempted to follow suit this year, but am going to resist and give myself a $30,000 goal.  This is certainly a hefty number to look at, but I was so close this year and know that if I put my nose down and grind, I can achieve it in 2023!

    1. Yes! Some people lost the coupon flyers in the weekly papers, but are now getting them in a little plastic baggie of local flyers and coupons in their mailboxes – so be sure to check there if they haven’t returned for you!
