Is it just me, or is this year just flying by?  Like we are almost half way through!

April started off really nicely for us.  After a fall and winter full of illnesses and injuries, we spend the end of March and beginning of April bug free.  It was amazing…while it lasted.  Unfortunately, the end of the month brought a nasty virus that went through everyone in our house and then lingered.  We’re finally shaking off the tail end of it now and hoping the nice weather will give us a reprieve!

This month I discovered that there’s a No Frills that has Flash Foods near my kids’ new school.  This brought in a little over $200 in food savings this month – definitely a helper in cutting down food costs!

Despite being sick, we still managed an extra  2307.09 in April!
