Let me share my personal experience as a stay-at-home Canadian mom who ended up with almost $2700 in extra money in June 2023!

This was my first year of “school” for my older two. Up until this point we had homeschooled, but they wanted to give “real school” a go, so we sent them off. While it was certainly bitter sweet watching them go off and finding themselves in a new environment, it did turn out well. Thus, June wrapped up our first year of school with lots of activities, parties and year end events.
In addition, three of my kids have birthdays between June 9th and July 11th, so it made for a super busy (and pricey) month.
