Today’s Pinterest Meal

So, I’ve been trying out some different meals I’ve found on pinterest to help me on my weight loss journey.

Today’s recipes were so good, I just had to share!

Main Course: Bourbon Street Chicken
Made: 4 Servings
Calories (with my modifications): 381/serving
Modifications I made:
– oil spray instead of olive oil
– paprika instead of red pepper flakes (just because I didn’t have any)
– splenda instead of brwon sugar
– whole wheat flour instead of cornstarch

Side: Cauliflower Rice
Calories (with my modifications): 36/serving
Modifications I made:
– 1/3 cup of garlic powder instead of garlic gloves
– no onion
– no salt or pepper
– oil spray instead of coconut oil

Side: 6 cups of veggies boiled
Calories: 177/serving

Dessert: Roasted Strawberry Banana Bread Muffins
Calories (with my modifications): 73/serving (makes 14 servings)
Modifications I made:
– made muffins instead of bread
– 2 tbsp of 0% greek yogurt instead of butter
– 1/2 cup of splenda instead of brown sugar
– only cooked for 25 minutes in muffin form (though 30 would probably be better)
