I may have mentioned before just how much I love pizza – so I’m always pumped when I find a healthy and easy way to prepare it!
So I really enjoyed this recipe from sweetestdelicacy.com , which of course I modified!
I found that broiling for 2 minutes on high actually burned the tortilla, so I put the veggies in the broiler for a few minutes. Afterwards, I took out the toppings, put them on the pizza and then threw it in the microwave for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of pizza sauce
1 whole wheat tortilla (Dempster’s large 180 calories)
1.8 oz of cut up tomatoes
1.4 oz chopped onion
.5 oz spinach
1 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese
Full pizza = 540 calories…nom nom
Want to make it lower calories? Use a lower calorie, or smaller tortilla and less cheese!
